Hale partners
with Habitat
for Humanity
SAN ANTONIO, Texas — Laurence N. Hale, AAMS, CRPS of Weiss & Hale Financial in Pomfret Center, recently participated in a day of giving back at Habitat for Humanity of San Antonio, the first U.S. affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International.
Hale, along with a peer group of 170 financial advisers and their guests, donated his time to assist Habitat for Humanity with this worthwhile project, which involved helping build a new single-family home for a local family.
“Giving back to the community is something that is very important to me, whether it is here in Connecticut, or across the country. It is remarkable to see the impact a group of motivated individuals can make. Building this home will no doubt have a positive impact on the selected family and their sense of community.” said Hale.
While in San Antonio, Hale and his colleagues, Jim Weiss, AAMS, RLP and Heather O’Rourke also attended Commonwealth Financial Network’s 2012 National Conference.
“The opportunity to look beyond the near term fiscal challenges may present a number of opportunities for investors. A consummate Bear, McMillan provided a realistic path forward, acknowledging the numerous risks but highlighting many of the overlooked bright spots in the economy.” Hale said.
