PUTNAM — The Theatre of Northeastern Connecticut at the Bradley Playhouse on Front Street (Rt. 44) will present “A Christmas Carol: Scrooge and Marley” starting Dec. 7 and running three weekends.
Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 7, 8, 14, 15, 21 and 22 and at 2 p.m. Dec. 9, 16 and 23. Tickets are $17 for adults and $14 for seniors and students. The Bradley is offering a special $2 discount off the regular ticket price on opening night, Dec. 7.
“A Christmas Carol: Scrooge and Marley” is Israel Horovitz’s stage adaptation of the classic tale written by Charles Dickens. All of your favorites will appear onstage – Ebenezer Scrooge, the Cratchit family and of course the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future.
The TNECT production is co-directed by Kathleen Atwood and Scott Guerin. Chris Bostrup-Jensen is the assistant director and Donald Magrey is the technical director.
The large cast is headed by Robert Latino as Marley, and Real Carpentier reprises his role as Scrooge. Katarina Bromkamp plays Christmas Past, Walter Wright reprises Christmas Present and David Ring appears as Christmas Future. The Cratchit Family is played by Jake Wolf-Jensen, Kathryn LeBlanc, Elizabeth Silvia, Ben Adase, Caroline Mercier and Corey Stanley as Tiny Tim.
We invite theater-goers to share the warmth with those less fortunate by bringing a nonperishable food item and/or hanging new mittens, gloves, hats and scarves on the Mitten Tree in the Bradley theater lobby. They will be donated to the Putnam Family Resource Center.

Tickets are available at Wonderland Books and Victoria Station Café and at the door, but patrons are encouraged to make reservations as the holiday show is always popular. All seating is general admission.
