The Mustangs offense was clicking Dec. 10 led by Zach Boulay’s game-high 21 points. Amir Sanders continues to shoot the ball well adding 15 points and Max Armstead put up 9 points for the now 3-2 Mustangs. PSA hosts Rectory School at 4:15 p.m. Dec. 12, a game they lost to start the season.

#8 Mt Zion 90
The Mustangs pulled of a huge come-from-behind win over #8 Mt. Zion 91-90 Dec. 9 in the PSA Cardinal Showcase. Tyson Etienne led PSA with 16 points. Abou Ousmane and Charles Pride each added 14 points. Hassan Diarra was the difference maker late in the game rallying the Mustangs with 13 points and 7 assists. Putnam Science Academy is now 12-0 and has won 40 straight.

PUTNAM — Amir Sanders led PSA with 23 points finishing with 4 3’s on the night to go along with 4 rebounds in a tough loss to the Bison. Zach Boulay kept up his great play with 19 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists. Travis Mangual had 16 points and 8 assists while Max Armstead did a bit of everything with 6 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the now 1-3 Mustangs.

The Mustangs rode the hot hand of Tyler Henry who scored 24 first half points on his way to a 37-point performance to help the Mustangs improve to 6-2 on the season. Jaiden Rivera hit 4 3’s to finish with 16 points and Alpha Diallo added 14 points.

PUTNAM — Justin Winston led the Mustangs with a game-high 17 points as PSA ran away with a 120-56 victory Dec. 5. Texas Tech commit Russel Tchewa posted a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds while Nate Stokes, who found himself in the starting lineup due to injuries, finished with 16 points for 4 of 5 shooting from downtown. PSA has now won 35 straight games dating back to last year and improve to 11-0 on the season.

Redemption - 59
NORTHFIELD, Mass. — In an absolute battle, the Varsity 2 Mustangs knocked off Redemption Christian Academy 60-59 for a huge road win to improve their record to 1-2 on the season. Zach Boulay continues his hot play with scoring a game high 26 points in the win. Travis Mangual also scored in double figures for PSA with 14 points. Amir Sanders chipped in with 8 points for the Mustangs who led at halftime 23-16.

BARRINGTON, R.I. — Dec. 2 the Varsity Mustangs lost to Rise Prep 86-68 at the Zero Gravity Prep Classic in Rhode Island. Justin Rodriguez led the Mustangs (4-2) again with 18 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals in the loss. Tyler Henry added 17 points, 7 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 assists and Jaden Rivera chipped in with 11 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists for Putnam Science Academy.

PSA girls’ varsity 50
Commonwealth Academy 63
The PSA girls’ varsity team suffered their first loss of the season at home 63-50 to Commonwealth Academy. Putnam native Alex Hutchins led the Mustangs with a near triple-double (11 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists) while Zoe Furman-Cox, the NFA transfer, added 10 points and 9 rebounds. The Mustangs sit at 3-1.

DEDHAM, Mass. — Marist College commit Trinasia Kennedy scored 14 points and the Lady Mustangs go on the road to beat Nobles (HS) Dec. 5. Ariana Koivisto, a Southern New Hampshire commit in her own right, added 10 and the Mustangs are 7-0.
