Sharon Breault
THOMPSON — Sharon (Hillmann) Breault, 79, of West Thompson Rd., died May 21, 2019, at the Rose Monahan Hospice House in Worcester.  She was the loving wife of Emile V. Breault, Jr.  Born in 1939 in Pomfret, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Eva (Botham) Hillmann.
Sharon was a secretary for Idle Wild Farm in Pomfret until she became mother of six children. She also loved taking care of the homestead that she cherished. Sharon was also a wonderful cook and baker, and she enjoyed doing all sorts of puzzles. Sharon was known for her quick wit and ready humor and took much pride in her Yankee ingenuity. 
She leaves three sons, Emile “Moe” Breault III, of Pomfret, Paul Breault (Tammy) of Thompson, Christopher Breault of Brooklyn; three daughters, Danielle Lajoie (Raymond) of Putnam, Michelle Placido (David) of Greenville, R.I., Denise Breault of Arlington, Mass.; grandchildren, Cory, Krysten, and Kayla Breault, Jonathan and Seth Breault, Jessica and Waylon Breault, Rebecca Lajoie Provost, Emma and Matthew Lajoie, Owen, Samuel and Kate Placido; and her great-grandchildren, Anastasia and Catherine Provost. She was predeceased by her great-granddaughter, Violet Breault.

Sarah R. Hamburg
EASTFORD — Sarah R. (Andrews) Hamburg, 84, of Eastford, was ushered into heaven May 22, 2019, at the Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam.
Sarah faithfully served alongside her husband in Christian ministry for more than 40 years. She was known for her creative teaching, Bible studies, leadership and gift of music. Sarah loved Jesus Christ and her life was a testimony of devotion to Him.  She loved her husband with her whole heart and he was her faithful caregiver throughout her final years with dementia.
She leaves her husband of 60 years, Rev. David A. Hamburg; son William Hamburg of Eastford; daughter Elisabeth Edouard (Jacques) of Pomfret.

Tammy M. Bolduc
PUTNAM — Tammy M. (Castello) Bolduc, 51, of Smith St., died May 23, 2019, at Matulaitis Nursing Home. She was the wife of Scott A. Bolduc. Born in 1967 in Providence, she was the daughter of John Castello of CA and Marie (Sciotto) Jenkins of Providence.
Mrs. Bolduc worked for many years as a secretary at EcoLab in Providence. She enjoyed gardening and her pet bunnies, cats, and dogs.
She leaves her husband Scott; two sons, Cody Bolduc of Worcester and Brandon Bolduc of Webster; three daughters, Hailey and Cora Turner, both of Putnam, and Monique Bolduc of Southbridge; her siblings, Joseph Castello (Jill Hamel) of N. Providence, and Dawn Castello of Providence; and her grandchildren, Jaidyn and Chase.

Anna Surozenski
THOMPSON — Anna P. Surozenski, 95, of Riverside Drive died May 23, 2019.
She was born July 26, 1923, in Putnam, daughter of Antonio and Mary (Trama) Gesualdi. Mrs. Surozenski worked for several years at former Greeting Card in Webster, and she retired from Anchor Glass, Dayville, in 1989 with 27 years of service.
She was a lifetime communicant of Sacred Heart Church, W. Thompson and St. Joseph Church, N. Grosvenordale. Anna was a person of great faith. She attended daily Mass for several years and volunteered as a counter for the weekly collections of both churches for more than 11 years. She also volunteered at their thrift shop for several years. Anna was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne, Dinner Club and the W. Thompson Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed Bingo and attending Whist Card parties.
She leaves two sons, Joseph A. Surozenski (Linda) and Gary J. Surozenski (Jeanne); a sister, Frances C. Gesualdi; two grandsons, one granddaughter and seven great-grandsons.

Sonja ‘Diane’ Burns
PUTNAM — Sonja Burns, 77, fondly known as Diane, of Thurber Rd., died May 25, 2019, at Matulaitis Nursing Home.  She was the wife of the late James Burns. She was born in 1941.
Mrs. Burns worked in housekeeping at various local hotels. She enjoyed being a homemaker to her family and was an avid Elvis fan.
She leaves her children, Traci Martins, Paula Sterling, Barbara Sterling, Brenda Jones, William Sterling, and Carl Sterling; two sisters, Donna and Sandra; 13 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Gloria Chabot
DANIELSON — Gloria R. (Bissonnette) Chabot, 82, of Danielson, died May 17, 2019, at the Lawrence and Memorial Hospital in New London. She was born July 29, 1936, in Putnam. She was the wife of the late Raymond R. Chabot.
She worked as an assembler at Acme Cotton in Dayville for 25 years. Gloria loved dancing with the 50s plus and loved family reunions.
She leaves her children Mishelle Lema Gallagher of Waterford, Robin Chabot Genovese (John Michael) of Waterford; grandchildren Nico Plikus and his fiancée Sarah Greene of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Kassidy and Tiffany Gallagher of Waterford, Cody Rummel; sister Doris Gardner of E. Hartford. She was predeceased by four siblings and a granddaughter Jillian.

Margaret Combs Loss
DANIELSON — Margaret (Graham) Combs Loss, 94, Danielson, died May 18, 2019, at Westview Nursing Home in Dayville.
Born Nov. 12, 1924, in Worcester, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Dorothy (Heritage) Graham. Margaret married Donald B. Combs in 1954 in Worcester. He died in 1994. She then married Robert Loss in 2002 in Florida. He died in 2008.
She was an avid knitter, crocheter and crafter. She also loved the Boston Red Sox. Margaret leaves her children Gayle (Victor) Kasparian of Shrewsbury, Mass.; Ronald (Kathy) Combs of Danielson, Robert Combs of Tierra Verde, Fla., and Paul (Lisa) Combs of Shrewsbury; 11 grandchildren Jennah, Adam, Gregory, Matthew, Olivia, Allison, Alexander, Melissa, Evan, Lucy and Jack; a great-granddaughter Alayleah; a brother James (Marjorie) Graham of Beverly Hills, Fla. Margaret was predeceased by her daughter Charlene Perrone, her brother Robert Graham, her sisters Dorothy Ratcliff, Hilda Benson, Jean Wagner, Florence Goodell and Edna Mae Graham.

Joseph Mikolajczak
WEBSTER— Joseph M. “Joe Mike” Mikolajczak, 84, died unexpectedly at home May 19, 2019.
His wife of 32 years, Lillian T. (Pelletier) Mikolajczak, died in 1988.
He was born in Dudley, the youngest child of Stanislaus and Bridget (Rybacki) Mikolajczak and lived in Webster and Dudley all his life. He graduated from Bartlett High School in 1953 where he was a three-letter athlete in football, basketball and baseball. He later played in the Jack Benny Softball League. Mr. Mikolajczak worked for more than 35 years at Pratt-Whitney Aircraft in E. Hartford, retiring as a purchaser in 1992. In his retirement, he was a professional attendant at the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home and at Scanlon Funeral Service.
Joe was a communicant of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church where he served as a collector and as a captain of the 25 Club. He was a life member of the Auburn-Webster Lodge of Elks #2118, a member of the Serra Club of Southern Worcester County, and a former member of the Quinebaug Valley Singers and the Yankee chapter of the Antique Outboard Club. He enjoyed New England sports and his antique cars. He loved to engage people he met with quips, a smile, and a sparkle in his eye.
He leaves three children, Robyn C. Leo of Pomfret, Patrice E. Bernier (Alan) of Thompson, and James J. Mikolajczak (Dr. Leslie Harold) of Northboro, Mass.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; his longtime sweetheart, Susan R. Schade of Webster. He was predeceased by three brothers and three sisters.
His Funeral Mass was May 23 in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, with burial in St. Joseph Garden of Peace.
