MANCHESTER, N.H. — Owen Borski, a biology major in the Class of 2023 from Woodstock, was named to the Dean’s List for the fall 2019 semester at Saint Anselm College.

WILLIMANTIC— Ethan Berriault of Putnam, a senior, was inducted into the Eastern Connecticut State University’s History Department’s Phi Alpha Theta national honor society. He was also awarded a graduating senior the Victoria Leigh Soto ’08 Memorial Fund Award.

HAMILTON, N.Y. — Hannah Burgess, a member of the Colgate University Class of 2023, has earned the fall 2019 dean’s award with distinction. She is from Pomfret Center and is a graduate of Woodstock Academy.

WILLIMANTIC — Eastern Connecticut State University’s Communication Department inducted 39 new students into the Lambda Pi Eta national honor society and awarded students for excellence in radio, research, television, leadership, journalism and photography. Among those honored was new inductee Maggie Chzaszcz, a senior from Putnam who majors in communication. Chzaszcz also received an award for Excellence in Television for work on Eastern’s ETV television station.

DUDLEY — Olivia Antonson of N. Grosvenordale was one of seven students from Nichols College to attend the North American Model United Nations Conference at the University of Toronto in February. Model United Nations is a program that aims to build and maintain strong links between the UN and Model UN participants around the world by providing students hands-on experience through real-world issues simulated at conferences.

Johnson, Thompson, first-year student, bachelor’s healthcare administration and public health/master’s in occupational therapy.
