PUTNAM — The Aspinock Historical Society House has served the AHS well over the years.Volunteers have been in the process of sorting and packing up items to be stored until they can be moved into the new town facility. With Covid-19 and social distancing requirements, this has been quite a task, and there is still much to do. AHS has accepted many donations over the years, and is strict about one thing — the donations must concern Putnam history only. History of all varieties is appreciated by one and all, but the AHS remains focused on their goal of preserving Putnam-related items only.
Volunteers will be needed for sorting, packing, organizing, and moving boxes as time marches on, under the direction of the archiving team. Even a good pair of legs and muscles is helpful. If you can help, or know someone who can help, email
