PUTNAM — One person was hurt and one person was cited after a two-car crash Aug. 21.
Putnam Police Chief Christopher Ferace said the driver of a 2017 Chevy Tahoe failed to stop for a solid red light at the intersection of Woodstock Avenue West and Wst Thompson Road. His car hit a Toyota Camry. The driver had to be extricated by the Putnam Fire Department. She was taken to Day Kimball Hospital with minor injuries.
The operator of the Tahoe, Joshua Patraw, 30, of Southbridge, was not injured and was issued an infraction for failure to obey a traffic control signal.
