On dean’s list
HIGH POINT, N.C. — Megan Robinson of Rogers was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2013 semester at High Point University. She is a graduate of Killingly High School.
Added duties
DUDLEY --- Twenty-three students at Nichols College in Dudley, Massachusetts have taken on extra roles in their classrooms as Teaching Assistants. They will aid the professor in the organization and scheduling of lessons, as well as help students in and outside of the classroom.
Abby Gould of Thompson is working as a Nichols Teaching Assistant for the 2013-14 academic year. Kaitlyn Larrabee of Gloucester is working as a Nichols Teaching Assistant for the 2013-14 academic year. Katelyn Tupaj of North Grosvenordale is working as a Nichols Teaching Assistant for the 2013-14 academic year.
Ambassadors
DUDLEY --- Twenty-nine students from Nichols College in Dudley, Massachusetts, have been chosen as Student Ambassadors for the 2013-2014 academic year, with a mixture of returning students and freshmen. Student Ambassadors are leaders who help the admissions staff and give tours to perspective students and families, showcasing Nichols College and its community. Local appointees include Abby Gould, Class of 2014 from Thompson has been named a Nichols College Student Ambassador for this school year. Michaela Purdon, Class of 2016 from Putnam has been named a Nichols College Student Ambassador for this school year.

DUDLEY — Kaitlyn Larrabee from Gloucester served as an Orientation Leader during the Summer, 2013 orientation sessions for the incoming class of 2017 at Nichols College.

BOSTON --- Local students on the MCPHS University Dean’s List for the Spring 2013 semester include:
Monica Debski, a native of Fabyan, who is pursuing a Doctor of Pharmacy. Debski will graduate from the Boston, Massachusetts campus. Alexandra Larrow, a native of Pomfret Center, who is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
Performs
NEW LONDON, N.H. --- Victoria Palacios of Woodstock performed in Colby-Sawyer College’s Fine and Performing Arts Department fall dance ensemble “Turning Pointe.”Featuring original choreography by 28 Colby-Sawyer students and Professor Shepherd, the performance will showcase ballet, contemporary, modern, hip hop, Argentine tango, Chinese and more.
Internships
DUDLEY --- Almost two dozen students from Nichols College, in Dudley, Massachusetts have landed internships in their fields of study. Jillian Stadig of Putnam and a member of the Nichols class of 2014, is completing an internship during the Fall, 2013 semester. Stadig, a Business Communications major, is interning at the Nichols College Bison Chronicles. Alyce Viens of Putnam and a member of the Nichols class of 2014, is completing an internship during the Fall, 2013 semester. Viens, a Management major, is interning at the Washington Ctr. - US Dept of Interior, Office of Strategy Employee & Organization Development.
