POMFRET — Positively Pomfret Day will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 27  at the Pomfret Recreation Park on Hampton Road. Admission and parking are free. Event includes:  Several Giant Inflatables , Live Music with the Yankee Dogs,  craft and food vendors, games and contests.

Try your luck at the Cash Cube. We’ll have a live broadcast with WINY’s Gary “O” starting at 11 a.m.

Attention Crawling Babies: Enter the Diaper Derby (11 a.m.) sponsored By Day Kimball Hospital.

Enter the ever popular skillet toss contest to be held at 1 p.m.. Three age groups for both men and women 18 to 35, 36 to 49 and ages 50 and up.

Chocolate Cream Pie eating, Shaved Ice Eating and the Cheeseball Chuck are just some of the fun and family

Friendly contests that will take place along with a karate demonstration, dog obedience and so much more!
