DAYVILLE — Susan Bessette has been named employee of the month for September at Westview Health Care Center. She is a second shift Certified Nursing Assistant and has been employed at Westview since June 2007.

As a second shift Certified Nursing Assistant, Sue is responsible for assisting residents and patients with their overall routine daily nursing care and services. Among many of her duties, she is responsible for recording vital signs and reporting any changes in the resident’s/patient’s condition to the Nursing Supervisor/Charge Nurse. She also assists with bathing, dressing, feeding, transfers and mobility. 

Bessette graduated from Tourtellotte Memorial High School in 2004 and in 2007 attended Quinebaug Valley Community College to become a Certified Nursing Assistant. 

She lives in  Killingly where she lives with her fiancé Justin Bonner and daughter.
