Swedish Meatballs

Holiday Bazaar

PUTNAM --- The Living Faith United Methodist Church on Grove Street Holiday Fair will be held from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Coffee, tea, muffins beginning at 7 a.m. Lunch begins at 11.

Soaking Prayer

PUTNAM - St. Philip's Episcopal Church ON Grove Street will hold a “Soaking Prayer” between 11 a.m. and noon. This is a quiet time with gentle background music when people can rest in the presence of God, allowing Him to minister to them. DANIELSON --- A free noontime concert featuring LugNauT, an original band based in Coventry, will be held from noon to 1 p.m. in cafeteria at the Danielson campus.

POMFRET --- The Quinebaug Valley Photography Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. the Audubon Center on Day Road for a discussion and hands-on workshop on "Abstract" photography.  Bring your camera and questions. All photographers welcome.

Food Drive

PUTNAM --- Putnam Ford’s annual Food Drive to benefit Project Northeast a community food bank will be from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at WINY Radio Station on Pomfret Street. Monetary donations are welcome!

Holiday Crafts

N. GROSVENORDALE --- The Emanuel Lutheran Church on Main Street will present a Holiday Craft and Bake Sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Lunch is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Special visitor for kids from 10 a.m. to noon (parents bring your cameras).

 

Concert

KILLINGLY --- ShoreGrass group will perform bluegrass, folk, old-time and original music, following a performance by Nick Anderson and his band Shady Creek at 7 p.m. at the Killingly Grange. $12 at door.  Refreshments available
