'Tackle Hunger'

PUTNAM — Help Us TACKLE HUNGER Super Bowl Weekend, Jan. 31 and Feb. 1. Kathi Peterson, secretary of the Interfaith Human Services of Putnam, said, “We are asking that your faith community consider participating in the S-O-U-P-E-R Bowl of Caring this year.  Ask your youth to hold soup pots at your church doors to collect dollars for food.  And ask your worshippers to donate canned goods and/or their loose change.  It will make a huge difference in our ability to replenish much needed supplies and provide food for families in need. We sincerely hope that you will help us TACKLE HUNGER by participating in this event and provide support to the IHSP-Daily Bread Food Pantry which is working to eliminate hunger."
