WATERFORD — Alex Hau, a marketing assistant with Charter Oak Federal Credit Union, has been named a “Young Professional of the Year” by the Young Professionals of Eastern Connecticut organization (YP).

Hau has been a YP member since 2013. He joined Charter Oak in 2011 as a teller and has also served as a Member Service Representative before joining the credit union’s Marketing Department in 2013. 

In addition to other branches in Windham and New London counties, Charter Oak has branches in Putnam and Dayville.
