Lecture
PUTNAM --- Greater Putnam Interfaith Council and Putnam Science Academy will co-host an Earth Day Lecture at 7 p.m. at the academy on Maple Street. Speaking will be Ken Whitten, a vegetable farmer who runs a small "pick your own" Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) garden in Woodstock. All welcome. Free, although nonperishable food donations to Daily Bread will be gratefully accepted.

Benefit Concert
E. WOODSTOCK --- A Benefit Concert will be held for Jasmin Ariel Floyd from 7 to 9 p.m. at the E. Woodstock Congregational Church. Floyd was born with a very rare debilitating bone disease called FOP, which is causing her body to grow a second skeleton. Performers: Sarah Jo Burke, Nancy Ducharme, The Fixins, Ben Gould, Liz Reed, & Bill Reid. $10.

Walk Along
POMFRET --- Join TLGV Ranger Kevin’s Walk Along the Air Line Trail from 1 to 4 p.m. starting from the Pomfret Station off Rt. 169 and taking a 4.2-mile walk. Some cars will pre-park at the Brooklyn Rd destination to shuttle back to Pomfret Station (or walk back for more fresh air in your lungs, making the round-trip 8.4 miles!). Free.
