PUTNAM — As part of this season’s free events, the Town of Putnam is welcoming Britishmania al Fresco at 7 p.m. July 18 at Rotary Park Bandstand with a rain date of July 19. River Fire runs from 8:30 to 10 p.m.
Britishmania al Fresco 2015 is sponsored by Wheelabrator Putnam, Inc. and Putnam Bank. This will mark the ninth year of sponsorship for the town’s summer al Fresco events.
The Britishmania Beatles Tribute Band has performed in front of hundreds of thousands at clubs, theaters, colleges and The Legendary Caver Club in Liverpool, England. Britishmania invites you to take a memorable trip back to the 1960’s to experience the wonderful sound and stage persona of the Beatles!
Re-live what it was like to see the Beatles in the epic periods of their career beginning with The Ed Sullivan Show era followed by their Shea Stadium era and finishing with the Abbey Road – Let it Be era.
The Britishmania Beatles Tribute Band will be accompanied by the Seven Hills Symphony from Worcester. The Symphony will have 40 accomplished musicians and will be conducted by Putnam native, Scott Chaurette. This will bring the sound of the Beatles alive and really make for an exciting performance! Bring a lawn chair or blanket.
