Bookstore open
DANIELSON — Used bookstores are making a comeback, according to a recent Washington Post article.
Just ask Jim Weigel, proprietor of Pourings & Passages who opened the area’s newest used book store in November. After years of running the annual St. James School book sale and watching each year’s sales surpass the prior year, Weigel decided a permanent location would be a huge benefit to the school and to local book lovers. Weigel said everything is donated every cent we take in goes directly to St. James School.”
With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, Pourings & Passages will celebrate with a month-long sale offering all romance novels at half price. Pourings and Passages is on the second floor of the Gerardi Insurance Building, 183 Main St., and is open Wednesday through Saturday.
