Grants made

JEWETT CITY — The Jewett City Savings Bank Foundation has awarded grants totaling $5,100 to local social services agencies. 

United Services in Dayville will apply its $1,000 grant from the Foundation toward the installation of security cameras at the emergency domestic violence shelter in Danielson. 

The Foundation’s $1,000 award to The Arc of Quinebaug Valley will cover leasing expenses for The ARC’s new Redemption Center in Putnam, a revenue-generating facility that will also provide employment opportunities for clients.
