Day Kimball

PUTNAM — Laurie Thompson, a laboratory support technician for Day Kimball Hospital, has been named employee of the month for January by Day Kimball Healthcare (DKH).   

Thompson possesses extensive hospital laboratory experience and customer service skills and has been with DKH for nearly 20 years. She is responsible for processing specimens and lab samples and accurately dispatching them to the appropriate department. She also works closely with the DKH network of phlebotomists and handles phone calls from various providers, doctors and patients.

 Thompson, who grew up in South Boston, served three years in the U.S. Army and four years in the National Guard. She currently lives in Putnam with her partner Frank and her dog, Coco Lopez.
