Be it ordained by the Town Meeting of the Town of Putnam that the existing ordinance requiring the Superintendent of Schools be located within the Town Hall as adopted at Special Town Meeting of  June 21, 1977 is hereby repealed.

Zoning Commission
The Town of Putnam Zoning Commission held a meeting on January 20, 2016, at 7:00 P.M. at the Town Hall located at 126 Church Street, Putnam, CT.  The public hearing on the following was continued to February 17, 2016, at 7:00 P.M. at the Town Hall.
 
Docket # 2016:  Strategic Commercial Realty, Inc. D/B/A Rawson Materials— Request for a Special Permit in accordance with the Town of Putnam Zoning Regulations Section 114 Special Permit and Section 607 Excavation.  The proposed sand/gravel excavation will be on approximately 26 acres.  All excavation truck traffic will be through the adjacent property owned by Wheelabrator Putnam Inc. with no truck traffic proposed on River Road.   Property located at 300 River Road, Town Assessor’s Map 44, Lot 23, Zoned AG-2.
