The Town of Putnam Planning Commission will hold a meeting on May 23, 2016, at 6:00 P.M. at the Town Hall located at 126 Church Street, Putnam, CT.  A public hearing will be held on the following:

Application # 2016-01: Suzanne Menard — Request for a 2-lot subdivision and a request for waivers on Section 202 and Section 306 in accordance with Section 108 of the Town of Putnam Subdivision regulations. Property located at 593 Pomfret Street, Town Assessor’s Map 36, Lot 7. Zoned AG-2.

A certified list of Democratic party-endorsed candidates for the Town of Pomfret for election as 1) Registrar of Voters will be on file with the Office of the Secretary of the State, 30 Trinity Street, Hartford, Connecticut, and 2) Justices of the Peace will be on file with my office at Town of Pomfret, Town Clerk’s Office, Five Haven Road, Pomfret Center, Connecticut, and copies thereof will be available for public distribution not later than the fourteenth day following the close of the town committee meeting, caucus or convention which made the endorsement.  

A Primary will be held August 9, 2016 if the required primary petition(s) for opposition candidate(s) is filed, pursuant to Sections 9-382 to 9-450 of the Connecticut General Statutes, not later than 4:00 p.m. on June 7, 2016.  Petition forms, instructions and information concerning the procedure for filing of opposing candidacies, including schedules, may be obtained from:  Susan M. Devokaitis, Democratic Registrar of Voters, at Five Haven Road, Pomfret Center, CT 06259.
