Lots donated

WATERFORD —  Charter Oak Federal Credit Union recently donated multiple lots to Habitat for Humanity of Eastern Connecticut for affordable housing for local families.

Habitat for Humanity of Eastern Connecticut anticipates building two freestanding homes on the donated parcel of land located in Norwich. One family will reside in each home.

“Habitat for Humanity of Eastern Connecticut has the resources to develop this land parcel and to positively impact the Norwich community,” said Brian A. Orenstein, Charter Oak’s president and CEO. “We hope the families impacted by this donation will enjoy their new home, and create meaningful memories with their families.”
