WORCESTER — Daniel Murphy, a third-year student at the College of the Holy Cross, was named to the dean’s list for the first semester of the 2016-17 academy year. He is the son of Emily Jacobs Murphy of Woodstock.

He is majoring in political science and international relations.

He is spending the spring semester in Washington, D.C. interning with a U.S. Senator.
