WATERFORD — The Regional Community YMCA in Putnam was the recipient of a grant from Charter Oak Federal Credit Union’s Community Giving Grant Program.

In 2013 the credit union pledged $50,000 each to the Regional Community YMCA in Putnam, and Lawrence + Memorial Hospital’s Cancer Center in Waterford. The final grant payment for each gift was made in March 2017 and totaled $20,000. Nine grants were made in the first quarter and they totaled $32,000.
