DANIELSON — Aug. 24, Joan St. Ament of the Savings Institute Bank & Trust team presented a grant check in the amount of $3,400 to Susan Desrosiers, executive director of The Arc Quinebaug Valley.  “We are thrilled to be awarded these grant funds.  Our agency is in dire need of new computers to improve our Job Development Enhancement Program and we are thankful to Savings Institute Financial Group Foundation, Inc. for fulfilling our request for the individuals we serve.” said Desrosiers.

This grant award will help with expenses for new computer bundles to assist individuals ages 16-24 in having better opportunities in competitive community employment. 

“Our agency flourishes from the support of the community and we are truly blessed to have local businesses, such as the Savings Institute, continuously stand by The Arc’s mission.  We are grateful for this grant award.” said Desrosiers.
