PUTNAM — July 6 associates from Environmental Systems Corp. (ESC) and Eversource Energy presented Dimension-Polyant with a utility rebate check in the amount of $47,908. As many large facilities do, Dimension-Polyant qualified for the rebate by participating in Eversource’s energy efficiency incentive program for multi-measure projects. In this case the incentive paid for 50 percent of the total project cost which included air leak repairs, new LED lighting, and a new air compressor.
Owned by Sioen Industries and located in Putnam, Dimension-Polyant produces high performance, high quality fabrics for racing and performance cruising yachts. Yachts using their sailcloth have won major sailing events such as the Americas Cup, The Olympics and other world championships. “Working with ESC and Eversource has been a pleasure. Dimension-Polyant is thankful for the support and the cleaner environment plus competitive advantages we can pass on to our customers – it is a win-win-win project” said Kenneth Madsen, VP of Operations.
