PUTNAM --- The Town of Putnam will hold a Household Hazardous Waste Collection from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Putnam Middle School. Putnam households only. Bring driver’s license or other proof of residency. What you can bring: Oil-based paint, latex paint, paint thinner, drain cleaners, varnish, photographic chemicals, nail polish remover, oven cleaner, toilet bowl cleaners, antifreeze, insecticides, gasoline, radiator chemicals, auto body chemicals, fuel additives, transmission fluid, camping stove fuel, aerosol cans, pool chemicals, herbicides, rat poison, moth balls, fungicides.
