Fulfilling Work
It was a hot day Aug. 7 for Relay For Life of Northeastern CT at the Brooklyn Fairgrounds, but members of the Putnam Rotary Club’s Interact Club were busy — filling luminaria bags with sand and a candle and distributing them all around the track for the luminaria ceremony later in the evening.  This year the Interact members raised $3,500 for the American Cancer Society.  The Interact Club was given an award at the opening ceremony for its team support for the last 25 years. Relay  thanked the club and members Sierra Girard, Talia, Kaelyn and Jonathan Tremblay, Marcy Dawley, Shannon Fagan (Rotaract Club), and advisor Roberta Rocchetti for all their help for 25 years.
