TOWN OF POMFRET
MUNICIPAL ELECTION
NOVEMBER 2, 2021
      In accordance with the provisions of Section 9-226 of the General Statutes of Connecticut, notice is given that the Electors, the legal voters of the Town of Pomfret, Connecticut, are hereby warned to meet at the Pomfret Community School Auditorium, 20 Pomfret Street (junction of Routes 101 & 169), Pomfret, Connecticut, on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, from 6:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. to cast their ballots for the following:
(1) One First Selectman (Vote for One); (1) One Selectman (Vote for One, Two to be Elected); (1) One Town Treasurer (Vote for One); (2) Two Board of Finance Full Term (Vote for Up to Two); (1) One Board of Finance to Fill Vacancy for Four Years (Vote for One); (2) Two Board of Education Full Term (Vote for Up to Two, Four to be Elected); (1) One Board of Education to Fill Vacancy for Two Years (Vote for One); (2) Two Board of Assessment Appeals (Vote for Up to Two); (3) Three Planning & Zoning Commission (Vote for Up to Three); (1) One Planning & Zoning Commission Alternate (Vote for One); (2) Two Zoning Board of Appeals (Vote for Up to Two); (1) One Zoning Board of Appeals Alternate (Vote for One); (4) Four Constables (Vote for Up to Four, Seven to be Elected); (3) Three Library Trustees Full Term (Vote for Up to Three); (1) One Library Trustee to Fill Vacancy for Four Years (Vote for One); (2) Two Library Trustees to Fill Vacancies for Two Years (Vote for Up to Two).  
The polls will be open for voting during said hours: 6:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. in the Pomfret Community School Auditorium, 20 Pomfret Street, Pomfret, Connecticut 06259.
    Election Day Registration/Voting Will Take Place at:  
Pomfret Town Hall, 5 Haven Road, Pomfret Center, CT 06259
   Absentee Ballots and EDR Ballots will be counted at the following central location:

Notice to all ELECTORS, LEGAL VOTERS of the Town of Pomfret.  Under Section 9-261 of the General Statutes of Connecticut, ALL VOTERS must present to the official checkers IDENTIFICATION when they go to the polls to vote.  This may include the elector’s Social Security card, or any other preprinted form of identification which shows the elector’s name, and either the elector’s address, signature, or photograph; or on a form prescribed by the Secretary of the State, the elector may write his residential address, date of birth, print the elector’s name and SIGN a statement under the penalty of false statement that the elector is the elector whose name appears on the official checklist.
