Great Pumpkin
Festival coming
Oct. 21
PUTNAM — The “great” Great Pumpkin Festival, free and family friendly, will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 21. And yes, it will feature Great Pumpkins.
This annual fall festival offers more than 75 arts, crafts and food vendors, activities for the children, scarecrow displays, live music, a giant sandcastle, puppets, sing-a-longs and more.
Vendors and activities will be downtown on Main Street, from bankHometown all the way over to the Union Square area by Centreville Bank. In addition Rotary Park will host the “Kids’ Zone;” the Boxcar Museum will be open; and the Municipal Complex (200 School St.) will offer an art exhibit.
Local businesses, boutiques and restaurants will offer pumpkin and fall-themed delights.
This is a rain or shine event.
