Prep Award Winners
The Woodstock Academy national champion prep soccer team was honored for its accomplishments last week at the Anya Restaurant in Thompson. Several individuals received awards with, from left: Richard Sarpong getting the Golden Boot Award for being the top scorer on the Prep 1 team. Alvaro Medrano Jr. was named the Abel Mickey Watson Most Valuable Player for the team and as the team’s keeper, also received the team’s Golden Glove Award.
