In June of 2024, Jewett City Savings Bank’s current Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, James (Jim) McDonald, will be retiring and Roy will step into the CFO spot.
“We are thrilled to welcome Jon to the Bank team.” said Michael Alberts, president and CEO. “His experience will be invaluable in helping Jewett City Savings Bank carry out our mission of helping our neighbors.”
“Jewett City Savings Bank owes a huge debt of gratitude to Jim McDonald for 25 years of dedicated service to our mutually-owned community savings bank” added Alberts. “During this period the Bank grew from three to seven branches and more than doubled its assets to $420 million. Jim brought an incredible wealth of knowledge to the bank and he’ll be sorely missed.”
