Programs offered
POMFRET — The Pomfret Recreation Department announced several upcoming programs.
Pomfret Youth Lacrosse: A regional program with games and practices for boys and girls in grades 1 through eight (4 divisions for each gender). You do not have to live in Pomfret to join. Go to www.pomfretyouthlacrosse.com for info/to register.
Player Development Basketball Clinic: For boys and girls ages 6 to 14. From 2 to 5 p.m. March 23 at the Pomfret School Field House. $25 for Pomfret resident/$30 for out of town. Fees include a free basketball.
Babysitter Safety Course: For boys and girls ages 10 to 13. 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. March 1 and 8. $50 includes materials.
Easter Egg Hunt: Pomfret boys and girls ages 1 to 10 at 11 a.m. March 23 at Wolf Den State Park. Rain date is March 30. Easter Bunny will be there.
