Eversource has People Power too! Board members at the Windham Country Foundation can attest to that fact after spending a day with volunteers from Eversource and Tennett Tree Service at the Windham-Tolland 4-H camp in Pomfret.   Under the supervision of Senior Supervisor, Chris Baxter, Operations Manager Kyle Hazard and Ana Alfaro, Corporate Citizenship Program Manager, 18 employees along with lots of heavy equipment and expertise made a big difference around the camp.  At the end of the day, two cabins and a half dozen new benches were stained, posts and fence rails were replaced going up to time for thought, dead limbs and trees over camp roads and near buildings were trimmed and dropped and a new light pole was installed in the cabin area at Horse Camp, which will give them light up there for the first time.  Forester Justin Sherman helped the giant tree truck to safely navigate the bridge and stay out of the brook.  This partnership goes back more than 10 years and is one that is much appreciated by the all-volunteer Board of the Foundation.
