PUTNAM — The Putnam Business Association, in its 15th year, has a full agenda of fun planned for the rest of the year.
The 2023 event season is in full swing with new events replacing First Fridays. The first in the series of Summer Saturdays was June 3 and was a great success! Thousands enjoyed International Day: Italian Festival featuring Italian food and beverages, a Tarantella line, photo opportunities, live music, living statues and much more.
Superhero Saturday is the second in the Summer Saturdays series and will be held from 1- a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 5.  For details: www.discoverputnam.com/events
The PBA Pluck-A-Duck Raffle Event and Extravaganza is a fun event from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 20 in Rotary Park. The Raffle Event joins forces with the Town of Putnam’s Main Street Car Cruise that day, when attendees will enjoy viewing more than 1,000 classic cars, live music & more, including the Kids Corner in Rotary Park, where Bounce Houses, Photo Booth, Arts & Crafts Tent, and Celebrity Dunk Tank await kids of all ages. Other popular events for 2023 include: Savor the Flavor, The Great Pumpkin Festival, Turkey Drive, Zombie Fashion Show and Santa Saturdays.

The Putnam Business Association is proud to be in its 15th year of supporting local business. Established in 2009 by a group of small business owners, the organization has developed into a group of more than 200 businesses that boast monthly meetings, committees, events and networking. The Putnam Business Association is proud to work closely with the Town of Putnam and the Putnam Police Department. With these collaborative efforts, events are held for both local participation and to draw tourism into Putnam.
