Continued success for
Interact fund-raising
PUTNAM — Dec. 2 proved to be another successful day for the Putnam Rotary Club’s Interact Club and its volunteers manning the Salvation Army kettles, according to Interact advisor Roberta Rocchetti.
The donations in the kettles totaled more than $2,000 which brings the total of the kettle campaign to over $5,000.  Rocchetti said, “The tap feature on the kettle stand is working. We received over $170 in tap donations on Nov 24 and 25”.
The campaign continues from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. every Saturday in December including Dec. 23 at Putnam Supermarket, the Putnam Walmart, Price Chopper and Stop & Shop.
She thanked the volunteers including: From Putnam High: Paige Perry, Gabriell Cerasiello, Ella Carota, and Kaylee Borders; Tourtellotte Memorial High School: Cooper Sweeney, Joshua Tackson, Zahara Moore, Serena Smith, Sofia Thurber, June Ferraro, Patricia Peterson, Noel Racicot, Kaylee Beck and her mom Nicole Beck; The Woodstock Academy: Kaelyn and Talia Tremblay, Emma Kerr, Ava Hovestadt, Jin Blair, Jackie Dearborn, Avery Thienel, Kira Greene, Sara Macri and Angelica Oliveira. She also thanked Julius Lang from Boy Scout Troop 25, Evan Shaughnessy of Putnam along with Rotarians Jonathan and Keri Tremblay, Pam Brown, Roberta, Mike and Leo Rocchetti.
