The beauty business just grew and grew

PUTNAM — It seemed there were more and more services to add on and that finally resulted in Jenn Simpson opening Beauty Haus in March in the Riverfront shopping plaza on Kennedy Drive.
The official ribbon cutting, welcoming her to the Putnam business community, was held April 5. Simpson thanked everyone who helped in the endeavor and her staff, as well.
She started the business a while ago, doing freelance wedding makeup, etc. Then she added spray tans and rented some space from a friend in Brooklyn. Then a friend left the salon she was working at and the beauty service idea grew and grew … into Beauty Haus.
Simpson said she has four hair stylists at the business, plus someone to do spray tans and she also offers permanent jewelry — bracelets are welded closed around the wrist, worn permanently. A “kind of trendy thing,” she said.
The business hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Friday; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays and it is closed on Sundays and Mondays.
