PUTNAM — The Putnam Police Department made a narcotics possession arrest following a motor vehicle stop on May 24.
Nicholas Holmes, 35, of 19 Battey St. Putnam, was charged with: possession of marijuana, possession of narcotics, possession of a hallucinogenic, possession of drug paraphernalia and operating with a suspended license.
Police stopped Holmes’ vehicle on Providence Street near Church Street for a for a headlight violation.
Probable cause was developed for the search of the vehicle, a black 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt. Police seized suspected marijuana, crack/cocaine, hallucinogenic mushrooms, and drug paraphernalia.
