Town of Pomfret
 SPECIAL TOWN MEETING – OCTOBER 27, 2025
The legal voters and citizens qualified to vote in Town Meeting of the Town of Pomfret are hereby warned to meet at the Pomfret Community School, 10 Pomfret Street, Pomfret, Connecticut, on Monday, October 27, 2025, at 7:00 P.M. to act upon the following articles:
Article 1: To choose a Moderator for said meeting.
Article 2: To see if the Town will approve an Authorizing Resolution allowing the Board of Selectmen to enter into an Interlocal Agreement by and between the Town of Pomfret and the Town of Putnam regarding dual use of the Transfer Station located at 10 Nora Lane in Pomfret, Connecticut.  A copy of said Interlocal Agreement is available at the office of the Pomfret Town Clerk, 5 Haven Road, Pomfret, Connecticut.
Article 3 To discuss and vote upon a resolution to direct the Town to create and implement an Ethics Commission as an independent entity modeled after similar Ethics Commissions in Connecticut in accordance with the provisions of Section 7-148 h of the CT General Statutes.
Article 4: To do any other business proper to come before said meeting.
