Everyone was dazzled
PUTNAM — The fact that the 24th annual Holiday Dazzle Light Parade was postponed a week did not “dampen the spirit of the parade,” according to parade organizer Gary Osbrey.
This year’s parade had two grand marshals: The Danielson Veterans Coffeehouse and the Putnam Lodge of Elks.
Osbrey said there were more than 150 entries and he estimated the crowds at 20,000.
He said, “We had a lot of first-time entries this year, all of whom gave great feedback on the parade and said they can’t wait to return next year.”
“This parade has evolved into a truly iconic Putnam tradition that continues to delight young and old each year with wholesome, family fun,” he added.
