Generous Community
The Putnam Police Department saw a great collection year in its Stuff-a-Cruiser challenge last week. Police Chief Christopher Ferace said “The Putnam community and the northeast’s generosity never ceases to amaze me — .another really successful Stuff-a-Cruiser challenge this year.” He said the department collected more than $3,300 and filled The Chevy Cruiser twice. Every toy and dollar collected goes to the Putnam Family Resource Center. Ferace said this is one of the department’s best years since starting in 2018.
