New officers
The Northeast Connecticut Chamber of Commerce recently installed its 2010 officers and directors.  New officers include: President, John “Nick” Haines of Friendly Spirits; First Vice President, Jay Sinha of Putnam Supermarket;  Second Vice President, Peter Deary of Sunnyside Farms Convenience Stores; Secretary,  Warren Scholl of CorePlus Federal Credit Union; Treasurer, Douglas Valentine of The Citizens National Bank and Assistant Treasurer, Rochelle Alix of Putnam Bank. Those proposed as new members of the Board of Directors include: James Booth President & owner of Hometown Heating, David Conrad President & CEO of The Citizens National Bank, Martha Emilio Vice President & owner of MAJiLLY, Kevin Merchant President & CEO of the Jewett City Savings Bank and Jeffrey Rawson President of Rawson Materials, Inc. Three year directors who are up for re-election include: Mary Conway of Plainfield Public Schools, William Cheng of Jade Garden of Putnam, Gregory King of King Cadillac-GMC and Dianne Williams of Quinebaug Valley Community College.
