WOODSTOCK --- In honor of National Volunteer Week, April 18 – 24, the staff at Historic New England’s Roseland Cottage museum offer their sincere thanks and appreciation to the dozens of local volunteers who donate their time to the museum.
Over the past year, more than 40 individuals from the local community donated more than 1,200 hours of service to Roseland Cottage. From weeding and watering the garden to giving tours and assisting in the gift shop, Roseland Cottage volunteers are critical to the success of the museum. Thank you!
The staff offers a special recognition and thank you to long-time volunteer Winifred, “Wini,” Savulis of Putnam. This year marks Wini’s 25th anniversary as a volunteer at Roseland Cottage. Throughout those years, Wini generously donated her time to giving tours, assisting with administrative tasks, and lending a hand during Roseland Cottage’s largest annual fund-raiser, the Fine Arts and Crafts Festival.
