Game 1
Cougar-11 NE Baseball-4
The 14U Cougars had their first divisional match in Ayer, Mass., on April 18, against Northeast Baseball. Tyler Stucke got the win and improves his record to 3-0 for the Cougars. A slow start to the first game lead to the Cougars putting 4 runs on the board in the 4th inning to take the lead 4-2 with Stucke, Will Bourgeois and Sean Falvey having a hit and crossing the plate. Ben Rumrill tripled in the 7th to score 2 runs and widen the Cougar lead. The Cougars combined for 10 hits in the game. Will Bourgeois came in the seal the game only allowing 2 runs, in 3-1/3 innings.
Game 2
Cougar-8 NE Baseball-0  
In game 2 against Northeast Baseball, Danny Murphy got the win in the 8-0, 1 hit shut out for the Cougars. The bats kept going into the second game as the Cougars spread out the 8 runs, with Stucke doubling in the third to drive in 2 runs. Murphy pitched 6 innings with one hit. Rumrill closed the game in the 7th.
The 14U team’s record is now 4-2 overall and 2-0 in their division.
The 14U Cougars play against Triple Play Allstars at 2 p.m. April 24 at Bentley Complex in Woodstock.

Game 1
RI Raptors 3/ Cougars 2
The CT Cougars 11U gave up two divisional wins to the 0-4 Raptors April 18. Zack Fielder records the loss with a fine effort on the mound with 10 strike outs. A timely triple for Lonardo of the Raptors combined with a pick off attempt at third gone wrong sealed the deal for the visiting Raptors.
Game 2
RI Raptors 12/Cougars 2
An incredible nine-run scoring spree in the first inning spelled disaster for the Cougars in the second game of the double header. A valiant effort by Adam Trudeau in the 4th with a single at bat and three strike outs on the mound held off the mercy rule ending to the fifth inning. Brody Adams creamed a right center stand up triple to drive in Trudeau and stole home on a pass ball to give the Cougars one more inning of life.
