Boys’ Lacrosse
Marianapolis 9 Watkinson 12
The Marianapolis varsity boys’ lacrosse team left it all out on the field April 26, but Watkinson’s late goals left the Golden Knights on the short end of a 12-9 scoreline. Overall, the coaching staff was impressed with the improvement that MPS (1-4) has shown over the course of the past week, but there were still too many mistakes offensively despite the nine-goal outburst. Junior Ben Gustavson scored four goals in the game, but he was also one of many players who struggled in the final four minutes to keep possession of the ball.
