EASTFORD --- A Road Race, a Rock Climbing Wall, Artists & Historians’ Exhibits & Sale, Firetrucks & Fingerprints, COW Kissing, Watergames, Dinner & a Show ….. Not your typical day in the center of Eastford, but on the second Saturday in June, during the Annual Heritage Day Celebration, you will find something for all ages, so grab your friends, family, and visit Heritage Day between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. June 12.

* Road Race Pre-Registration for the Staff Sgt. Joseph E. Phaneuf II Memorial Road Race (Run, Walk & Fun Run) Visit http://eastfordhd.wordpress.com/mini-marathon/ for Road Race Registration information. All proceeds will be donated to the Connecticut National Guard Foundation, Inc. Deadline: May 12th, 2010. Preregistration is limited to 50 participants and includes a T-shirt. Day of event registration begins at 8 a.m. (no T-shirt).
* Artist/Craftspeople, Historical Presenter & Vendor Tables - 10 x 10 spaces are available for sale or demonstration of goods and services. Local artists, craftspeople and historians will be given preference if space fills, though all vendors are welcome to apply. * Got Talent? Sign up for Dinner and a Show. The annual Talent Show will be held on the Eastford School Auditorium Stage beginning at 6 pm. Register for the Talent Show at http://eastfordhd.wordpress.com/dinner-show/ Please register by May 12.
ALL are welcome to attend Talent Show. The show will accompany a Chicken Barbecue Dinner, sponsored by Eastford Independent Fire Company (EIFC) at Eastford School. If you are interested in the Chicken Barbecue, please contact an EIFC member for tickets. Tickets for barbecue are NOT required to enjoy the Talent Show.
