11U
Game 1
Riptide 5 Cougars 4
Zach Fiedler pitched a solid six innings with commendable relief from Evan O’Conner until a bottom of the ninth three-run rally put the Riptide ahead for the win. Jacques Bergeron and Scott Davagian sprayed the field with doubles and singles to lead the offense in hitting for the game but it was not enough to save the Cougars from the loss.

A catastrophic nine-error second inning put the lights out on the Mother’s Day double header for the 11U Cougars. The Cougars hit well to put runners on but could not push them around to stay in the game. The lone bright spot in the game was provided by Rico Adams inside-the-park home run shot into right center.

Winning pitcher: Adam Converse.
Highlights: Jordan - 2 / 4, three runs, 1 RBI. Paxton - 2 / 2, two runs, 3 RBI’s
Game 2
Cougars 12 - 2.
Winning pitcher: Jordan.
Highlights: 15-hit Barrage
Jordan - 3 / 4, three runs, 3-RBI; Travis - 3 / 4, three runs, 1-RBI; Maguire - 2 / 4, two runs, 2-RBI; Ethan - 2 / 4, one run, 3-RBI; Paxton - 2 / 3, one run, 1-RBI.

Game 1
Cougars 7 Central Mass Tornadoes 1
May 9 the 14U Cougars split the double header. Danny Murphy got the win and complete game for the Cougars. Murphy struck out 8 and allowing 3 hits. The Cougars had a 5 run third inning with timely hitting from Murphy and Tyler Stucke.
Game 2
Central Mass Tornadoes 4 Cougars 2
In game 2, The Tornadoes pitching threw the Cougars off, and could only come up with three hits, crossing the plate twice. Ben Rumrill went 3-3 with a double, two singles and one RBI. Will Bourgeois took the loss on the mound.
The 14U team’s record is now 6-6 overall and 4-2 in their division.
The 14U Cougars play against West Boylston Warriors at 1 p.m. May 16 at Woodstock Middle School.
