PUTNAM --- This August several martial artists from Mike Bogdanski’s Martial Arts in Putnam are traveling to South Korea for martial arts training and touring. South Korea , land of the morning calm, is the home of their style called Tang Soo Do.
Co-owners of the school, Master Kristin Duethorn, Master Mike Bogdanski and students will travel with over 100 American martial artists attending this advanced training. The group will visit Seoul’s museums and historic sites; Hwa Seong Fortress to train with ancient Korean weapons; Songtan, home of Osan Air Force Base and where world-renowned martial artist/actor Chuck Norris received his Black Belt. The main training will be under Grandmaster Song Ki Kim (former Norris instructor), the highest ranked Korean Tang Soo Do Master in the world today.
