PUTNAM --- John L. Busch will give a book talk at 4:30 p.m. July 31 at Wonderland Books.
He wrote "Steam Coffin: Captain Moses Rogers and The Steamship Savannah Break the Barrier," a book on why the proposition of making the first crossing of the Atlantic Ocean on a “steamship” was met with a mixture of skepticism and fear.
