Frances H. Eccleston,

WEBSTER — Frances (Puris) Eccleston, 78, formerly of Wilsonville, died from complications of diabetes July 20, 2010, at Lanessa Extended Care.  Her husband of 53 years, Carl Eccleston, died in 2003. She was born in 1932.
She leaves her daughters, Karen, wife of Richard Renaud of N. Grosvenordale, Gail, wife of Robert Poirier of Thompson, and Tammy, wife of Glenn Gerhard of S. Windsor; five grandchildren and two great-grandsons; her best friend and roommate, Shirley Berry. 
The Mass of Christian Burial was July 23 in St. Joseph Church, N. Grosvenordale. Francis LaFramboise,
WWII vet
N. GROSVENORDALE — Francis B. LaFramboise, 91, of Thompson Hill Road, died  July 24, 2010 in Day Kimball Hospital.  He was the husband of Pauline (LaVigne) LaFramboise.  He was the son of the late Adelard and Angelina (Penelle) LaFramboise.
Born in 1919, he was raised on a family farm in Canterbury, one of 12 children.  He graduated from the first graduating class of Griswold High School and worked in an office for a short time before beginning a career in construction trades. 
He served for four years in World War II, and was stationed in England in the Army Air Corps as a bombardier.  Upon his return, he worked in the construction trades for several years and in 1955, he founded LaFramboise Well Drilling.  In 1969, he was named to the first statewide board that regulated well drilling and he served as its chairman.  After his retirement in 1984, he served as an adviser to the company.  Frank, as he was known to friends and family, was an avid gardener and enjoyed working in his garden and sharing his vegetables with friends and family.  He read extensively and with his wife, Pauline, he traveled internationally and visited almost all 50 states.  He was a great storyteller and especially enjoyed his role as Péperè, hosting family gathering.
In addition to his wife, he leaves his son, Paul LaFramboise (Nancy); daughters, Elizabeth (Libby) Allison (Robert), Suzanne Kline (Gregory), Jean Degan (William), and Claire LaFramboise and her companion, Larry Piers; brother, Edward LaFramboise; sisters, Helene Busher, and Alice Raymond; grandchildren: James Allison, Francis Allison, Anne Kline, John Kline, Thomas Degan, Theresa Degan, Andrew Degan, Jeffrey LaFramboise, Eric LaFramboise, and Troy LaFramboise.  He was predeceased by his infant son, Bernard LaFramboise.
The Mass of Christian Burial is at 11 a.m. July 28 in St. Joseph Church, 20 Main St., N. Grosvenordale, with burial with military honors  in St. Joseph Cemetery. Helen Richmond,

DAYVILLE — Helen Richmond, 79, of Dayville, formerly of Putnam, died July 19, 2010. She was born Sept. 8, 1930, in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, the daughter of the late Ovid Arthur and Pauline (Kennette) Gothreau. She married T. Russell Richmond on Sept. 25, 1946.  For most of her married years she lived and worked at Ridgedale Dairy Farm in Putnam.  Upon retiring, she and her husband lived in Ft. Myers, Fla., and Brooklyn.  For the past six years Helen made her home with her daughter Sandra at Lake Alexander, Dayville, where she discovered a love of kayaking.  She was also an avid birdwatcher. 
She was predeceased by her daughter, Beverly and her husband Russell. She leaves her daughter, Sandra Sadler of Dayville, her son John (Janet) of Woodstock; grandchildren Jillian, Julia, and Joy Richmond all of Woodstock, and Russell Hall (Nanci) of Thompson; her canine companions, Beau and Sadie.

Ronald King Sr.,

DANIELSON — Ronald G. King Sr., 63, of Reynolds Street, died July 23, 2010, at home. He was born Nov. 3, 1946, in East Hartford
Ron worked at Pryms in Dayville until the mill closed in 1990. In 1993 he began working at Pallflex in Putnam and has worked there since then. In 1995 after years of work and dedication Ron received his associate’s degree from QVCC.
He was predeceased by his parents George and Blanche (Paquette) King and his stepmother (who raised him) Florence King. He leaves behind, Theresa (Charbonneau) King, his wife of 28 years; children, Ronald G. King Jr. of Killingly, Cathy Sue King of Danielson, Robert Caswell of Danielson, and Melissa Herman (Nate) of Frederick, Md.; five siblings, Thomas King of Putnam, John King of Belgrade Lakes, Maine, Betty Perkins (John) of Woodstock, Maureen Baker (William) of Danielson, Nancy Hamel (Art) of Putnam and Elaine Burnett of Danielson; five grandchildren, a great-grandchild.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:15 a.m. July 29 at Gagnon and Costello Funeral Home, 33 Reynolds St., Danielson with burial with military honors at Holy Cross Cemetery, Danielson. Donations: National MS Society - Connecticut Chapter, 659 Tower Ave., Hartford, CT 06112.

Florence E. Saucier,

PUTNAM — Florence E. Saucier, 90, died July 23, 2010, at Matulaitis Nursing Home. Florence was born March 8, 1920, in Border, Minn., to the late Albert and Elizabeth (O’Neill) Paul. She married Herve O. Saucier Oct. 26, 1940. He died Dec. 13, 1995.
Florence lived in Putnam for over 60 years. Prior to moving to Matulaitis she also lived at Maple Courts in Danielson. She worked for a number of years at the American Greetings in Webster and retired from Danco in Putnam in 1983.
She leaves her daughter Jackie (Ronald) Landry of Dayville; sons, Richard Saucier and fiancée Donna Yarger of Sun City Center, Fla., J. P. (Paula) Saucier of Dayville; daughter-in-law Betsy Saucier of Vernon; and a sister,  Eileen Domski of Pennsylvania; eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandson. She was predeceased by her son David Saucier in 2002; also sisters Mary, Rosalie and Sarah.

Myrtle F. Clark,

WOODSTOCK — Myrtle F. (Terry) Clark, 99, formerly of Brookfield, Mass., and Woodstock, died July 20, 2010, in Westview Health Care Center in Dayville. She was born in Barre, Mass., daughter of the late Arthur B. and Lizzie Mae (Lindsey) Terry and grew up and lived in Brookfield before moving to E. Brookfield in the early 1970s. She was a graduate of the former Brookfield High School. Mrs. Clark worked for McLaurin Jones Co. in Brookfield as a secretary for many years and then worked with her husband for several years in his printing business before retiring 1971. She leaves one sister, Myra Neely of Woodstock; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Roy E. Clark in 1971 and eight siblings, Eva, Esther, Ethel, Leon, Henry, Robert, Mildred and Lewis.
A Memorial Service was July 24 in the Brookfield Congregational Church, with burial in Pine Grove Cemetery, W. Brookfield. Varnum Funeral Home.
