Commission
The Town of Putnam Inland Wetland Commission held a meeting on Wednesday November 10, 2010, at 7:00 P.M. at the Putnam Middle School Library/Media Center located at 35 Wicker Street, Putnam, CT 06260.
The following action was taken:
Application # 2010-03: Wal-Mart Stores East, LP. The property is located south of Route 44 and west of Interstate of 395. The 17.74-acre site is currently occupied by a 108.747 SF Wal-Mart Store. Wal-Mart is proposing to expand the building to 149,498 SF. In order to accomplish the 40,751 SF expansion and necessary additional parking, the site and driveways are proposed to be re-configured, resulting in work within the upland review area and modifications to the stormwater treatment system, including the reduction in size of existing detention basin. APPROVED WITH CONDITIONS.
